HDC’s mission is to develop, own and operate worldclass hospitality businesses. Consequently, the firm builds partnerships with leading and young yet promising hospitality brands with regional development ambitions.
Benefiting from unique locations at The Pearl - Qatar, HDC has largely contributed in making the island one of the most exclusive, fashionable and sophisticated destinations in the world.
Since its inception in 2007, HDC has formed exclusive partnerships with a number of reputed brands including Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar, MEGU, Pampano (New York City), Burj Al Hamam and Al Tabkha (Beirut), Liza and Tse Yang (Paris). Discussions are underway to add more winning concepts to the HDC restaurant portfolio.
On the Hotels and Resorts front, HDC is developing three luxury boutique hotel properties, ideally situated at The Pearl - Qatar.
The world famous Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts will launch its first hotel in the region at The Pearl - Qatar during 2012, and has already won an internationally acclaimed design award.
HDC has been in advanced talks to conclude the acquisition of a strategic stake of a lifestyle hotel operator, with an aim to grow the hotel brand globally.
Going forward, HDC will grow through the development of its existing hospitality brand relationships, and through ventures into strategic acquisitions. This combination of organic and non-organic growth will provide optimal investment diversification.
